Northwestern Medicine in Illinois seeks an EVS Tech I to maintain patient rooms and public areas, following safety procedures and health standards. This full-time role offers a 40 hour week, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM with alternating weekends.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking supplies, ensuring proper chemical use, protecting patient confidentiality, and collaborating with hospital staff to deliver safe, welcoming environments. Prior healthcare or hospitality experience preferred.

• Experience in healthcare or hospitality environment preferred (1–3 years).

Mansioni

• Cleans patient rooms, offices, public areas and treatment rooms daily.
• Follows isolation and contact precautions as necessary.
• Stocks supplies in assigned areas and maintains carts and equipment.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and uses chemicals correctly.
• Notifies supervisor of repairs and safety hazards.
• Communicates issues to supervisor and assists with schedule as needed.
• Keeps patient information confidential and works respectfully with staff.
