Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead approximately 20 EVS technicians in a hospital setting. You will oversee daily operations, ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality, and coach staff to meet attendance and performance expectations.

You will conduct rounds, perform quality checks, manage timekeeping, and support evaluations and corrective actions. Experience with waste audits, segregation, and posting findings to leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Leading EVS team and overseeing day-to-day operations in a hospital/healthcare environment.
• Experience supervising EVS staff and managing daily department operations.
• Ability to coach employees and perform real-time corrections while ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead team huddles and conduct rounds.
• Coaching and provide real-time correction to staff.
• Complete quality checks in assigned areas and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
• Support staff evaluations and corrective actions.
• Conduct or support waste audits and proper waste segregation.
• Identify issues and communicate findings to department management.
• Attend department and operational meetings.
• Monitor staffing and daily coverage.
• Assist EVS tasks such as discharge cleaning and trash removal.
