Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Environmental Services Operations Manager for evening shifts to support EVS leaders in directing hospital housekeeping operations in Milwaukee. You will coordinate front-line staff, liaison with administration, and ensure high service levels.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment; benefits include medical, retirement, and time-off options.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer contact.
• Demonstrated growth in health care housekeeping or facility maintenance preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Ability to stay organized in a changing, stressful environment.
• Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Evening shift availability (Mon-Fri, e.g., 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM) with weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring processes; interviews, hires and trains new associates.
• Orients and supervises all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts regular inspections and makes facility recommendations.
• Monthly reporting of goals and plans.
• Staff education and training; communication with staff and other departments.
• Coordinate outside services (Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical Waste, Recycling, etc.).
