North Carolina Specialty Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a full-time EVS Housekeeper to cover two shifts: 11pm–4am and 11am–7pm. Under the EVS Supervisor, you will clean ORs, patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, floor care, trash removal, terminal cleaning, and maintaining infection-control standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of environmental services experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assures housekeeping supplies are stocked daily and according to PAR levels.
• Floor care: cleaning, buffering, scrubbing, and waxing floors.
• Trash pickup.
• Performs terminal cleaning daily per hospital policy and procedure.
• Decontaminates clinical areas, equipment, and non-disposable supplies according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Recommends revisions to policies and procedures when appropriate.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and adheres to infection control requirements.
• Maintains PPE and attire in restricted areas.
• Keeps janitorial closets clean and orderly and posts safety signs.
• Reports chemical spills and understands MDRO sheets in case of exposure.
• Maintains safe handling of chemicals per manufacturer recommendations.
• Keeps the patient environment clean using standard procedures.
• Identifies risks to patients and reports issues.
• Completes additional duties as needed.
