Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking a part-time EVS Housekeeper for the Southpoint Surgery Center in Durham. You will clean operating rooms, patient areas and offices, while stocking supplies and following hospital policies to maintain a safe environment.

Under the EVS Supervisor, duties include proper decontamination, waste handling, and adherence to infection control standards. Pre-employment screenings apply; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience of Environmental Services and/or housekeeping in an ambulatory/surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains stocked housekeeping supplies according to PAR levels.
• Performs terminal cleaning of rooms and areas per policy.
• Demonstrates proper decontamination of clinical areas and equipment.
• Keeps operating rooms and restricted areas clean with PPE.
• Adheres to safety and infection control requirements.
• Reports chemical spills and unsafe conditions promptly.
