Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital's Southpoint Surgery Center in Durham, NC seeks an EVS Housekeeper to clean operating rooms, patient rooms, and offices, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. You will stock PAR levels, perform floor care, and follow infection-control protocols under supervision of the EVS Supervisor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of environmental services or housekeeping experience in ambulatory/surgical settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• 1 year experience in Environmental Services and/or housekeeping in ambulatory/surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping supplies daily per PAR levels.
• Perform floor cleaning, buffering, scrubbing, and waxing.
• Handle trash and terminal cleaning per policy.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environment; follow infection control.
• Wear PPE and follow safety precautions.
• Report chemical spills and hazardous conditions.
• Complete additional duties as needed.
