Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking an EVS Attendant II to help maintain clean, safe patient areas, offices and related spaces. You will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste removal and surface cleaning in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of general cleaning experience, and floor care skills to support facility operations and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One (1) year general cleaning experience preferred.
• Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Able to perform the duties of the EVS Attendant II Classification.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, patient rooms and related areas, performing dusting, vacuuming, mopping.
• Remove biohazardous and regular waste; clean all surfaces.
