Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks an Environmental Services professional to maintain cleanliness of patient care, ancillary and public areas on a rotating shift. The role may supervise daily Patient Transport activities.

Experience in Environmental Services with 1–3 years, plus at least 1 year in a supervisory role, is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years Environmental Services experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all patient care, ancillary, and public areas of the hospital during an established shift. May be responsible for the daily activities of Patient Transport.
