Job summary

The EVS team follows strict cleaning standards and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires CHEST certification within 6 months, and preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• CHEST certification within 6 months of hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects areas for cleanliness and ensures sanitation according to standards.
• Cleans toilets, basins, showers, floors and related furnishings using appropriate supplies.
• Transports and disposes of soiled linen, trash and bio-medical waste properly.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and reports any issues.
• Supports Quality Improvement activities to improve hospital environment.
