St. Charles Health System is hiring an Environmental Services Attendant in Bend, OR. This part-time role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in hospital interiors, greeting patients and visitors, and protecting privacy.

The position works with the Environmental Services team and reports to the Environmental Services Manager. Responsibilities include thorough sanitation, waste handling, supply management, and use of cleaning equipment, with opportunities for Quality Improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CHEST certification within 6 months of hire.
• Prior professional janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspects assigned areas during shift for cleanliness and sanitizes accordingly.
• Performs cleaning tasks per the department standards.
• Cleans toilets, basins, showers, walls, and floors with appropriate supplies.
• Transports and disposes of soiled linen, trash, and bio-medical waste.
• Maintains stock of supplies in assigned areas and transports equipment as needed.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and vacuums.
• Reports repairs and safety concerns to leadership.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient environments.
