Job summary

Qualifications

• CHEST certification within 6 months of hire.
• Prior professional janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans toilets, basins, showers, bathtubs, walls, furniture and doors according to standards.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts floors and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Transports, disposes of soiled linen, trash and biomedical waste properly.
• Labels and handles infectious waste bags; reports repairs as needed.
• Maintains stock of supplies and supports department goals and VIP Lean principles.
