Qualifications
- Pharmacist degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD).
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
- Hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
- Active OK State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
- Processes orders and dispenses medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Contributes to educational goals of the department.
- Enhances performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
