Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. You will participate in clinical pharmaceutical care, ensure safe, cost-effective therapies, and support both clinical and distributive services to all patients.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, accrediting requirements, and involvement in educational activities. A BS in Pharmacy or PharmD is required, with licensure in good standing and ASHP PGY1 residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency preferred but not required.
• Preferred hospital pharmacy experience.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental clinical programs and regulatory reporting.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulations.
• Contribute to educational goals and improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Support educational and process improvements in clinical and distributive areas.
