Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Hospital Service Technician I for Children's Hospital Birmingham to manage hospital equipment, deliver and prepare devices for patient use, and coordinate with clinical staff. The role supports 24/7 hospital operations with a focus on safety and service quality.

The position requires a high school diploma, customer service experience (hospital setting preferred), basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required and hospital setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, and emergency off-hours as needed.
• Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Delivers equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in patient-ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
• Communicates with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
• Provides a quality service, meets customer and company metrics, and adheres to quality standards.
• Picks up, cleans, and processes equipment, preparing it for patient-ready use following protocols.
