Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an Environmental Technician for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on basic disinfection, cleaning, and proper disposal of waste within the Environmental Services Department.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer at least 1 year of hospital cleaning experience, with knowledge of infection control and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures preferred.
• Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Tech is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility.
• Removal of regular waste and medical waste, boxes, and disposal of equipment and furniture.
