Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR seeks an Environmental Technician II for full-time evenings. The role performs basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility and hospital-owned clinics, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for staff, patients and visitors.

You will join the Environmental Services Department and may adjust schedules to meet department needs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and prior hospital cleaning

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures preferred.
• Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Tech II is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility and hospital owned clinics.
• This position is also responsible for removal of a regular wasted and medical waste alone with boxes and the disposal of equipment and furniture.
