Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln Environmental Services is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas. You will perform complete cleaning tasks indoors with some outdoor work, handle waste, restock restrooms, and assist with maintenance reporting.

Starting pay is $18.85 per hour, with benefits and opportunities. Candidates must be available for every other weekend and required holidays; prior experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience preferred.
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
• Can operate cleaning equipment.
• Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas indoors; may assist with outdoor cleaning as needed.
• Removes waste and recycles; transports soiled linen; handles sharps containers.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports malfunctions to maintenance staff.
• Maintains safe work environment and complies with infection control and department standards.
• Attends required in-service education and safety training to maintain knowledge.
