Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas to include dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures.
• Washes windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures.
• Sweeps, scrubs and refinishes floors; vacuums and shampoo carpets.
• Re-stocks restrooms and replaces light bulbs; reports repairs.
• Handles waste: collects, transports soiled linen, empties trash, changes sharps containers, and transfers waste to compactors.
• Operates cleaning equipment safely and maintains clean, orderly surroundings.
• Maintains safe working environment and complies with infection control guidelines and departmental standards.
• Attends required in-service education and training classes; meets time schedules.
