Job summary

UPMC Memorial is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper for mid-shift coverage. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, public areas, offices and equipment to meet hospital standards, making beds, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. You will move equipment and assist with blinds and curtains while following safety regulations.

A key aspect is handling rooms where medications are stored with no contact. Preferred candidates have housekeeping and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas including patient rooms, public areas, offices and equipment following procedures.
• Make beds in discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Inspect cleaned areas and report any issues to supervisor.
• Replenish supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap) in all locations.
• Maintain and report condition of equipment and report safety concerns.
• Move equipment and furniture as needed and assist with blinds/curtains.
