Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; will consider relevant experience in lieu of diploma.
• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial work in healthcare or similar setting preferred.
• DOT certification is required annually.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills for supply tracking or training modules.
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Infection-control compliant cleaning and sanitation of the healthcare facility.
• Perform cleaning, floor care, and waste management tasks.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
• Follow all safety standards and instructions; participate in B Safe program.
