Advocate Health Care in Chicago, IL seeks a Hospital Housekeeper to scrub, strip, polish and refinish floors and maintain clean, safe patient areas. You will operate floor machines, vacuum cleaners and waste handling equipment while following hospital procedures and safety guidelines.

Key duties include responding to spills, preparing rooms, relocating furniture for meetings, and disposing of waste in accordance with DOT and hospital policies.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong English communication and customer service skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Scrub, strips, polishes and refinishes floors using appropriate equipment and/or supplies.
• Operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
• Clean or sanitize after emergency spill as requested.
• Collects hazardous and medical waste according to hospital processes and DOT/RSPA training.
• Separates regular and recycle trash according to procedure.
• Maintains work area in orderly, clean and safe condition.
• Demonstrates commitment to satisfying customer needs and exceeding expectations.
