Job summary

Signet Health is hiring for Environmental Services/Housekeepers at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, TX. This hourly role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with overtime possible.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, offices, and hallways, and following infection control standards. Essential duties cover linen handling, operating cleaning equipment, floor care, high-area cleaning, and assisting with evacuations when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two plus years of related experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect dirty linens from units and use industrial washer/dryer per hospital standards.
• Operate environmental service equipment such as floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, and related devices.
• Wet-mop rooms and hallways; shampoo rugs and furniture as needed.
• Clean vents and high areas; use ladder when necessary; move furniture as required.
• Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms and prepare rooms for new occupants; follow isolation procedures when applicable.
