Job summary

Signet Health is seeking an Environmental Service Worker at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, TX. This hourly role covers day, evening, or night shifts, and may include weekends and holidays to ensure continuous operation and safety.

The position requires physical capability (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs), operation of cleaning equipment, and adherence to infection control standards in patient areas and offices. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of related hospital experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move heavy objects as part of cleaning duties.
• May handle equipment and chemicals that may be hazardous.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of patient rooms, offices and hallways to infection control standards.
• Operate environmental service equipment and cleaning tools.
• Shovel snow and assist with evacuations when needed.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants and follow isolation procedures where required.
• Maintain linen distribution records and supply packs for departments.
