Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services team member in Charlotte, NC for a full-time role within the Carolinas Medical Center environment. The position involves a 40-hour workweek with a schedule that includes working every other weekend, and a pay range of $18.85–$28.30 per hour.

Provides comprehensive benefits and opportunities for on-the-job training. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, floors, fixtures, and common areas, following a 7-step cleaning process,

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required; related experience preferred. On the job training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-Step cleaning process and bed remaking after discharge cleaning.
• Maintains floors and carpets per maintenance schedule.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exterior equipment.
• Empties trash, relines containers, and operates a compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings to original locations after job completion.
• Performs all floor care methods including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing and extraction with specified equipment.
