Penn Medicine is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to support the Perioperative Services area at HUP in Philadelphia. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfection, patient transport, and maintaining sterile and safe environments across ORs and related spaces.

The role is 1.0 FTE with a night shift, located at 3400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA. Required is a high school diploma or GED; 1+ year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required).
• Equivalent Experience: At least 1+ year (minimum work experience).

Responsibilities

• Maintains environmental sanitation in the Perioperative Services area and associated spaces (ORs, labs, patient areas).
• Cleans and disinfects surfaces and equipment in the OR and surrounding zones; handles waste and linen.
• Transports patients, belongings, and specimens; prepares beds and stretchers for patient movement.
