Job summary

Penn Medicine's Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Environmental Services Staff member for the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine location. This full-time, evening shift role focuses on cleaning and caring for the facility, maintaining sanitation and infection control standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, waste disposal, stocking supplies, and following safety procedures; training provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent experience: minimum 1 year in a similar role.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Environmental Sanitation throughout the Interventional Support Center area.
• Dons PPE and follows infection control isolation precautions.
• Prepares cleaning solutions per written standards.
• Cleans equipment and maintains floor stock; disposes of waste.
• Replenishes paper products, soap, and hand sanitizer; restocks supplies.
• Reports unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.

Education

H.S. Diploma/GED
