Job summary

University Behavioral Center in Orlando, a part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean, aseptic environment across the facility, including residential units and common areas. You will sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect, with occasional deep-cleaning tasks, while interacting professionally with patients, families, and staff.

Safety is a top priority. Strong preference for High School Diploma or GED and prior housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to safely use cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining safe work practices.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, aseptic environment across the facility, including residential units, common areas, and non-patient areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect all areas throughout the facility.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks such as wall washing, window washing, cleaning light fixtures, upholstery cleaning, vent cleaning, and restroom scrubbing.
• Adhere to safety policies and report unsafe conditions or hazards.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, visitors, and coworkers.
