Job summary

Forefront Healthcare in New Castle, Indiana is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our healthcare setting. You will follow infection prevention protocols and support the Supervisor and Manager to ensure efficient operations.

The role is full-time, hourly, with shifts from 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am, paying $15.75 per hour. You may perform laundry duties and operate cleaning equipment while upholding company

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
