Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. You will follow infection prevention protocols and support supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

The role is full-time, hourly, with a pay rate of $13.75 per hour. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential to deliver high-quality service in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to follow infection prevention protocols and OSHA CMS TJC standards.
• Capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist in room setup, moving furniture, and light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
