Job summary

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to wear required PPE (gowns, gloves, goggles) as needed by environment.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 80% of shift and 35 lb+.
• Ability to operate light floor-cleaning equipment in patient care areas.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to clean in high-acuity areas (IR, OR, ED, NICU).

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection in hospital environments.
• Maintain patient rooms, offices, clinics, and public spaces according to infection control standards.
• Remove hazardous and biohazardous waste per safety guidelines.
