Samaritan is seeking an Environmental Services Tech I to support a clean, sanitary environment essential for quality care. The role requires adhering to safety and infection control standards and working 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating weekends in a full-time capacity.

The position emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols across hospital facilities, Professional Center, and Pioneer Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of Environmental Services experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to use ladders.
• Demonstrates competency with department equipment.
• Strong safety and infection control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, surfaces, and beds.
• Clean all areas of the hospital, professional center, and Pioneer Medical Center.
• Remove trash and replace liners with clean bags.
• Clean lighting fixtures and high areas.
• Deliver clean linen and handle soiled linen.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices while performing duties.
• Coordinate with team and communicate professionally.
