Job summary

Good Samaritan Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines. Tasks include emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, and using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.

Assist in the laundry areas as appropriate; may be required to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to use computer; prior cleaning experience is helpful.

Responsibilities
