Keck Hospital of USC is hiring an Environmental Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment for patients, staff and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, waste disposal, and reporting maintenance needs in all areas of the facility.

The role supports infection control standards and requires basic English and customer service experience. Hourly pay ranges from $21.84 to $30.08 with consideration of responsibilities, experience, and internal factors.

Qualifications

• Prefers high school or equivalent
• 6–12 months customer service in a high-volume setting
• 6–12 months healthcare housekeeping, hotel, or hospitality experience
• Ability to read and write basic English
• Demonstrates excellent customer service behavior
• Able to function independently and as a team member
• LA City Fire Life Safety Training required within 30 days of hire if not already obtained

Responsabilités

• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in patient and public areas
• Follows patient room cleaning policies and proper waste disposal
• Cleans and disinfects fixtures and restrooms
• Dusts, mops and cleans various facility areas
• Reports repairs needed to appropriate personnel
• Documents completed tasks and supports infection control standards
• Demonstrates teamwork and positive interpersonal skills
