Job summary

Independence Health System in Latrobe, PA is seeking a versatile hospital housekeeper. You will perform daily cleaning in patient rooms, public areas and ancillary spaces, ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with Monday-Friday schedule and rotating weekends; full-time, part-time and casual positions available. Training provided and safety guidelines followed.

Travel between Independence Health locations may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services any assigned hospital area/facility.
• Performs routine cleaning requests from customers within departmental duties.
• Performs daily cleanup and care of equipment and materials per procedures.
• Maintains hospital standards of cleanliness and uses established work patterns.
• Collects and transports regulated and non-regulated waste and soiled linens to designated locations.
