Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida is seeking a dedicated EVS staff member to perform routine cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of patient care areas to support a safe environment. Responsibilities include floor care, linen handling, and adherence to infection control procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and prior housekeeping or healthcare experience is strongly preferred. The position offers benefits and opportunities within a leading South Florida hospital

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience in housekeeping, linen maintenance or healthcare environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Spots cleans and damp wipes walls, windowsills, overhead lights as required daily.
• Damps mops floors, corners and edges, paying attention to base boards and using appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrates proper cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas following standard procedures.
• Maintains infection control by following guidelines and proper glove removal and hand washing procedures.
