Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Associate to maintain clean, safe patient care areas and public spaces. You will follow hospital procedures for cleaning, disinfection, and waste handling, and collaborate with nursing and facilities teams to support a high standard of care.

We value reliability and basic housekeeping experience; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience in housekeeping, linen maintenance or healthcare settings strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safe chemical handling.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to department policies.

Responsibilities

• Spots cleans and damp wipes walls and surfaces as required daily.
• Dusts, mops floors, and maintains baseboards with appropriate solutions.
• Disinfects patient care units and public areas following 7-step cleaning procedures.
