Qualifications

• Must be able to follow both oral and written directions.
• Must be able to demonstrate sanitation techniques, and the use of cleaning materials; or learn the department's techniques within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas to ensure a clean, sanitary and safe environment for hospital and Parkland customers.
• May respond to the bed tracking system to quickly clean rooms after patient discharge for immediate availability.
• Promotes harmonious interactions with patients, visitors, staff and managers to support high levels of customer service.
• Maintains and cares for environmental services materials, equipment and supplies; notifies supervisor when maintenance or repairs are needed.
