Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (PRN) to support PHHS units and departments, ensuring sanitation, cleanliness, and safety across areas including some critical care zones.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, responding to the bed-tracking system after patient discharge, working harmoniously with patients, visitors, and staff, and maintaining equipment and supplies while notifying supervisors of needs.

Qualifications

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Demonstrate sanitation techniques and cleaning materials.
• Learn department cleaning methods within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas to ensure a clean, sanitary and safe environment.
• Responds to bed tracking to clean rooms after patient discharge.
• Works harmoniously with patients, visitors, staff to promote customer service.
• Maintains and cares for ES materials, equipment and supplies; notifies supervisor when needed.
