Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan seeks a Lead Environmental Services Technician to direct departmental staff in delivering timely cleaning, sanitation, and safety across hospital areas. You will mentor team members, ensure compliance with cleaning standards, and coordinate supply use and repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have four years of environmental services experience in a healthcare or related institutional setting, or equivalent college education and/or management experience.
• Must complete departmental training and testing specific to the department.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas, including hospital critical care areas and patient rooms, to assure a safe, sanitary environment for internal/external customers.
• Lead, train, and motivate assigned staff to maximize capabilities and deliver optimal service.
• Maintain knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines and ensure staff compliance.
• Replenish supplies and coordinate with supervisor for maintenance or repairs as needed.
