Job summary

SaintFrancis Healthcare System in Missouri seeks a housekeeping associate to clean, sanitize, and maintain an assigned area in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, including setting up event and conference spaces.

Responsibilities include making routine rounds to collect soiled, reusable patient care items; transporting hazardous chemicals to the designated storage area; and cleaning and reprocessing equipment and other reusable items.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make timely rounds to pick up soiled, reusable patient care items and instruments.
• Segregate items to holding areas and reprocess equipment and other reusable items.
