Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated cleaning associate to maintain clean, safe facilities. You will perform dusting, sanitizing, floor care, window washing, and restroom restocking in indoor environments, following strict infection-control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred: One year experience
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
• Can operate equipment
• Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas to include, but not limited to: dusting and sanitizing furniture, washing windows, sweeping floors, vacuuming, restocking restrooms, replacing light bulbs, and reporting repairs.
• Most work is indoors; may assist with outdoor cleaning including parking lot, windows, and roof.
• Heavy contact with cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• Removes waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash and recycling, and disposing hazardous waste.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports equipment failures to maintenance staff.
• Maintains safe working environment and adheres to infection control guidelines and quality standards.
• Attends in-service education and training to maintain technical knowledge.
