Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Environmental Services is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate to clean and disinfect patient areas, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain a safe hospital environment. The role follows strict infection control procedures and requires adherence to department policies during every shift.

Working hours are 3:00pm to 11:30pm, 40 hours per week, with pay range $18.85 to $28.30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas (rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways) using hospital procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment per department instructions and ensure safe, orderly workspaces.
• Prepare and handle cleaning chemicals following safety policies and labeling requirements.
• Move and arrange furniture/equipment for cleaning, and restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control policies at all times.
