Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a dedicated hospital housekeeping associate to help keep all APD campus buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for patients and staff. The role floats across buildings, performing daily cleaning tasks.

A High School diploma is preferred, prior hospital housekeeping experience is helpful, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions is essential. Work evenings, Mon-Fri, 4:30pm-1am, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Past hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
• Background in institutional cleaning required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work under deadlines and pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure APD campus buildings are kept clean, safe and welcoming for patients and employees.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks across various buildings; float as needed.
• Dry mop and wet mop non-carpeted floors; vacuum carpeted floors; strip and wax floors as assigned.
• Clean furnishings, floors and equipment with proper cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Dust window sills, blinds, furniture, and remove trash and recyclables.
