Dartmouth Health is seeking an EVS Tech 1 to perform general cleaning tasks across the hospital, while interacting with patients and visitors and preparing rooms for new patients.

The role includes cleaning occupied rooms, operating floor cleaning equipment, handling spills, and transporting waste, with first and second shifts and rotating weekends. Opportunities for career growth within Environmental Services are available.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills required: email, eLearning, Ipad, Vocera, and pagers.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling fluctuating workloads.

Position Description

We help our patients and visitors live well by providing a clean and safe hospital. As anEVS Tech 1, you would perform general cleaning tasks across the hospital:

• Interact with patients and visitors
• Clean occupied patient rooms
• Prepare discharged patient rooms for the next patient
• Clean operating rooms
• Operate floor cleaning equipment
• Spill response
• Transport waste

Pay Details

• Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour
  • + $2.00 Weekend shift differential
  • + $1.60 2nd shift differential
  • + $5.503rd shift differential
  • Holiday Pay Time and a Half
• Benefits Eligible: Yes (Health, Vision, & Dental Insurance, Retirement Plan, Education Assistance, + more)
• Shift Details:
  • 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm + rotating weekends
  • 2nd Shift -4:00 pm-12:30 pm + rotating weekends
