Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment. You will perform cleaning, sanitizing, waste removal, and floor-care duties across patient and non-patient areas while following infection-control procedures.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment like vacuums and floor buffers is required, with 0–1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe application.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties in patient and non-patient areas in accordance with schedules and infection-control guidelines.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Complete waste removal and dispose of designated waste per procedures.
• Clean and service areas throughout the Medical Center and operate cleaning equipment.
• Attend a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
