Job summary

Columbia County Health System in Dayton, WA is seeking a diligent Environmental Service worker for full-time, on-site cleaning duties. Expect a day shift or swing shift with hours TBD, supporting a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

You will perform routine housekeeping tasks, manage waste safely, and contribute to a welcoming hospital setting. Training in BLS may be provided; previous healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• No licensing required; previous healthcare/hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification every 2 years, will help to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas throughout the facility.
• Perform window, wall, and surface cleaning as needed.
• Make beds in patient and resident care areas.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste safely.
• Complete regular and terminal cleaning tasks.
• Perform all aspects of floor care, including maintenance and occasional evening work.
