Job summary

Reston Hospital Center is seeking a capable Environmental Services professional to perform daily cleaning tasks across patient rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The role emphasizes adherence to infection control policies, maintaining dignity and respect for patients, and flexibility to adjust areas as prioritized by Environmental Services leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least 1 year Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms.
• Cleaning tasks are maintenance or restorative based on needs.
• Follow Infection Control policies and proper body mechanics while performing cleaning duties.
