Job summary

ephraimmcdowell is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in a Medical Center setting to perform housekeeping tasks across restrooms, waiting areas, offices and clinical spaces. The role includes operating cleaning equipment and following patient-family centered care principles.

Responsibilities include completing shifts, maintaining equipment, and supporting department operations. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adaptability to overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move or position 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekend shifts.
• Operate and maintain department equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work load by the end of each shift.
• Operates and maintains departmental equipment in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner.
• Completes special projects throughout the Organization as assigned by the supervisor.
• The Environmental Services Technician may gain access to the medication/nourishment room by an authorized Associate for routine cleaning.
• Assists with the efficient operation of the department and Organization.
• Demonstrates a commitment to professional accountability and growth to maintain and expand knowledge and skills.
• Contributes to the achievement of the mission and philosophy of the Organization.
• Contributes to the effective operations of the Organization by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
