Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a Worker I Service to keep our hospital clean, sanitary, and safe. You will perform essential housekeeping duties, restock supplies, and operate cleaning equipment while following safety guidelines.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare. Weekend and holiday availability is required to support patient care and a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas (lounges, restrooms, offices).
• Restock supplies in assigned areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor care machines, and steam sterilizers.
• Follow safety and procedural guidelines at all times.
• Complete assignments timely in accordance with department policies.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and used per manufacturer instructions.
