Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment. You will help with daily room turnovers and support infection prevention while interacting with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and other common areas.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment; dispose of waste per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Remove waste and transport to disposal areas with proper waste stream handling.
• Follow infection prevention practices including hand hygiene and PPE procedures.
